Candidate will need to arrange for their accommodation for the FEZA School. There may have some UCL halls open to book during July 2020. We will email the registered candidates in the future regarding the possibility of booking UCL halls for the School. Additionally, there are various hotels very close to the School venue such as Tavistock Hotel, Imperial Hotel, Royal National Hotel, etc.

School Information:

FEZA organises Summer Schools associated with all FEZA conferences. These 2-day Schools help scholars in their early careers to become familiar with the state-of-the-art in nanoporous solids research, and develop specific technical skills. They also enable them to discuss with leading academics and industrialists in the area of porous materials research, to present their research and exchange ideas, and to network with their peers.

We recommend this post-conference school for PhD candidates who would like to develop their understanding of key aspects of porous materials, such as zeolites and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), including their synthesis, characterisation, modification, modelling and applications. The FEZA School in 2020 will be held in London, post-conference, on the 16th and 17th July. In addition to the technical content of the school, we will ensure all participants have an opportunity to enjoy some social and cultural activities in the heart of London, close to University College London.
